Listening to the discussion of canceling a worship service, I look at the practical side of risk management. We canceled a Sunday service in December. There was 1/8 – 1/4″ of ice everywhere. It was not a safe environment. Later I heard that a person fell on the ice in the next town over. There was a possible broken leg involved. So, for me, I weigh the risk management side. I have to ask about the potential harm that could be caused.
