Why do we pray, and how should we pray? In today’s Seven Minute Seminary, Pete Greig challenges our notions of prayer and encourages us to begin by simply talking to God, even about the small things.
He uses the following passages as instructive for us: Jesus’ disciples asking for help in prayer (Luke 11:1-13); Paul’s writing that the Spirit intercedes for us when we don’t know what to pray for (Romans 8:26); and Adam and Eve’s walking in the garden talking with God (Genesis 3:8).
Pete Greig was one of the speakers at New Room Conference this year. You can purchase all of the video and audio of the conference in our store here.
