A student, even a disciple, may falter— but a witness is unstoppable.
When we have a revelation from Jesus, we learn new things and unlearn old things.
Sometimes we have to lose our sight to gain a vision.
Being “in Christ” is a way of talking about us abiding in Christ, and Christ abiding in us.
Our Creator is interested in us becoming the fullness of who he is—in character, presence, and wholeness.
Union with Christ, and the fullness of his love, are meant to be experienced. We can posture ourselves—in heart and mind—toward an ongoing encounter with Jesus.
To put our roots down deep into love means that we draw on Christ’s love as our primary source of spiritual nutrition.
But the more our faith grows, the more experience we have with Christ living his life through us (Gal. 2:20), the more we see what is actually happening. Jesus has made his home in us.
We begin with a prayer—a prayer to experience union with Jesus and the fullness of his love.
We are Easter people transformed by the love of Christ—through His victory over death and the power of the Holy Spirit, we have been altar’d.
