When he is not playing with his four children with his wonderful wife, Jeremy oversees children, youth, and college ministries in addition to leading the evening worship service at Christ UMC in Mobile, Al. He is passionate about reaching people with the message of Jesus in a way that engages them with the movement of God. Andrew has been serving local churches for 10 years and is currently an associate pastor at Lawrenceville First UMC where he oversees the student and young adult ministries. Andrew was ordained in 2013 as the youngest elder in full connection in the North Georgia Conference. Phil is the Senior Director of Family Ministries & Resource Development at Christ Church UMC in Memphis, where he guides children & student ministries and creates new teaching resources. He’s also an Affiliate Professor of Philosophy and Religion at Asbury Theological Seminary. He’s the author of The Poetics of Evil and the co-editor of The Philosophy of Sherlock Holmes. He and his wife, Karen, and have 4 young children. Betsy has worked with students for over 24 years and has served at Cornerstone Church in Caledonia, MI for nineteen of those years. Currently, Betsy is the Director of Family Ministry while still holding the high school ministry hat. Betsy also teaches women’s ministry at Grace Bible College as an adjunct professor. Betsy has been married for 27 years with a son in college and daughter in high school. In her free time, she enjoys reading, laughing with her family, and date nights!
Josef has been working with students for more than 17 years, and is currently the Pastor of Children and Youth Discipleship at Chapelwood UMC in Houston, Texas. Josef and his wife, Amy, have 3 children. As a former college baseball player, Josef leans heavily on the importance of healthy teams in ministry. Whether staff or volunteer, young or old, Josef loves helping people discover their gifts in ministry. If free time ever were to exist, you would find Josef working on projects around the house or hanging out by the pool with friends and family.
Jason has been serving full-time in the local church since 1993. He has served everything from small churches to mega-churches. He is a graduate of Auburn University and Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his family currently serve as Minister to Students at Roswell United Methodist Church in Roswell, GA. Robert is the High School Youth Pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church in Birmingham, AL. Robert has been working with students for over seven years; four of which at Trinity UMC. Scott has served in student ministry for almost 30 years, the past 21 years at McFarlin Memorial UMC in Norman, OK, currently as the Director of High School Student Ministries. Having grown up in an incredible and life-changing youth ministry at Pioneer UMC in Walla Walla, Washington, Scott got his start in student ministry at Simpson UMC in Pullman, Washington while a student at Washington State University. He will never forget his first official Sunday as a youth director when two of the high school students who showed up were older then him! Fitz has served in youth ministries for over 15 years. He is currently the High School Director at Christ UMC in Memphis, TN. Fitz met his beautiful wife, Marcy, while a student at Asbury Seminary (it was not a typical seminary romance – she wasn’t a student). They married in 2003 and they have three children, each of whom have their own set of superpowers. Wes has been involved in ministry to youth for 16+ years, and he is currently serving as the Director of Youth & Family Ministry at Parkway Heights UMC in Hattiesburg, MS. Wes has an Mdiv from Wesley Biblical Seminary in Jackson, MS, and he is currently in the final stages of earning a Dmin in Youth, Family, & Culture from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. Trey has been in full-time youth ministry for over 15 years and is currently serving as Pastor of Youth & College Ministries at First UMC in his hometown of Murfreesboro, TN. Trey is an ordained Deacon in the UMC, has an MDiv. from Asbury Seminary, and is currently working towards a Dmin. in Youth, Family, and Culture, from Fuller. A self-proclaimed family man, Trey is married to Abbey and they have one daughter, Lilly Broox. He is also a lover of music and boasts of being able to sing, play the guitar, and (as of a few months ago) play at least 3 songs on the piano (unfortunately, all from the Frozen soundtrack). Trey is passionate about encouraging and equipping people to grow in their relationships with Christ and others.
Rick has been working in youth ministry for the past 11 years and is currently the Director of Youth Ministry at Ankeny First UMC, a suburb of Des Moines, Iowa. Rick and his wife, Becky, have two children. They spend their time camping, jet skiing, and zip lining in their backyard.
Eddie grew up in Houston,Texas, graduated from the University of Oklahoma, and has his Certification in Youth Ministry through Perkins. He has been involved in student ministries for over 20 years, serving at Lakewood United Methodist Church in Houston, since 2004, currently as Director of Student Ministries. Chasity is the Outreach and Education Coordinator at Christ UMC in Newcomerstown, Ohio. As part of that position, she is the youth pastor for Meta Student Ministries, a community wide, student led youth ministry, that takes place at Christ UMC. Chasity is most passionate about empowering and equipping teens and young adults to make a difference in the world through the life changing power of Jesus. Aaron is an ordained deacon in the Anglican Church of North America serving as the Student Ministry Team Lead at University United Methodist in San Antonio, TX. He has focused on raising lifelong disciples of Jesus in student ministry for 14 years. Aaron and his family, Lyndee, Isaac, and Baby Girl (due in Jan. 2015!!!!!), have a deep love of the wild and living simply. Scot is a pastor, potter, poet, and photographer. He received a MDiv from Asbury Seminary in 2013. He serves at Grassland Community Church near Ashland, KY. Scot and his wife, Pat, (who is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church) have three beautiful daughters scattered from Ohio to Kentucky to the US Virgin Islands. Scot loves nature and is passionate about “seeing the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living” and preparing a new generation of leaders with fire in their bones.
Adam serves as the Minister to High School Students at Brentwood United Methodist in Brentwood TN. Adam has a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Lambuth University and a Masters in Youth Ministry from Memphis Theological through the Center for Youth Ministry Training. Adam and his wife Carlisle both serve in youth ministry in separate United Methodist Churches and spend most of their time ministering to teens and laughing at their bulldogs, Hurley and Patty. Andrew has been in youth ministry since 2008 and currently serves as the Director of Youth Ministries at Dunwoody United Methodist in Dunwoody, GA. Andrew has degrees in Religious Studies and Telecommunications from the University of Georgia, and an M.Div. from Candler School of Theology at Emory University.
