The vision for the creation of the Soul Care Collective first occurred years ago as J.D. Walt, “Sower-in-Chief” of Seedbed Publishing, and Kathy Milans, Pastoral Counselor, sat together brainstorming ways that “people care” could be a part of Seedbed.
Out of this discussion came the development of the Soul Care Steering Committee. They began to meet monthly and dreamed about the possibilities of such a site.
The vision of the team became to provide resources designed to encourage individuals in personal soul care, to equip them to care for others within the context of their own vocation, all from a distinctly Wesleyan perspective.
We hope that this site is a means to connect you with those who are in need of training and experience—including pastors, counselors or anyone caring for others.
