Psalm 123

CM (86.86)
Timothy and Julie Tennent

1To You alone I lift my eyes,
To You enthroned in heav’n;
2As eyes of servants to their lord,
So my gaze will be giv’n.

Just as a maiden’s eyes look to
her mistress whom she knows;
So our eyes look to God on high,
Till He His mercy shows.

3Have mercy on us, Lord we pray,
For we’ve endured much scorn;
4Endured contempt from proud who scoff,
More than enough we’ve borne.
