Psalm 110
Julie Tennent

1The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand;
Until all your enemies no more can stand.
I’ll make them a footstool for under your feet.”
2And you’ll rule from Zion – your vict’ry complete.

3Your troops will be willing on your battle day;
They will be majestic in holy array.
From dawn’s early womb, they will serve you in truth,
They’ll be like the dew in the prime of their youth.

4The Lord God has sworn and will not change His mind:
You’re a priest forever of a unique kind.
Your priesthood is not like the one you have known;
Melchizedek’s order is both priest and throne.

5The Lord’s at your right hand – He’ll crush kings in wrath.
6He’ll judge all the nations – the dead fill His path.
6/7He’ll crush all earth’s kings. When to brooks He is led,
He’ll drink peacefully and will lift up His head.
